Hendrick’s Hot Gin Punch
Every month I choose one classic and one contemporary cocktail to showcase. This month I’m focusing on Punch. Punch cocktails are classic by their very nature. Many Prohibition era cocktails were served in Punch style. For this reason, instead of choosing one classic and one contemporary, I am going to showcase one hot and one cold.
Fall is here and what a better way to celebrate than a Hendrick’s Hot Gin Punch. I found this recipe on liquor.com while searching for a cocktail to serve at a family gathering. This punch did not disappoint! At the beginning, I didn’t let anyone know what was in the punch. After I received about 98% approval I let everyone know Hendrick’s Gin was the base. At least 50% of my family swore they did not like gin. I’m proud to say I made some gin lovers that day!
